Covent Garden
Just a few steps from the main Piazza is Flat Iron Covent Garden, our largest Flat Iron. It sits on Henrietta Street, in the building that was originally home to Pearson’s Weekly, the periodical that published the UK’s first ever crossword.
We fell in love with the building’s past, especially its original 1892 tiled frontage. Wanting to continue that sense of heritage and craftsmanship, we panelled the interior walls with reclaimed oak cabinet doors & reclaimed tiles. We’re proud to have worked with sculptor and cabinetmaker Dan Preston to create all the tables in the restaurant using timber from a single English oak tree.
Here you’ll find our in-house butchery, where master butcher Scott practises his craft. Alongside our signature Flat Iron steak and sides, in Covent Garden we serve beef prepared in the butchery, supplied by carefully chosen farmers and small producers across the UK. Every week a different carcass of the highest quality rare, native and uncommon beef is delivered and prepared. Have a look at our Specials blackboards when you visit to find out what we’re serving.
